El IES Cruz Santa, junto con 52 centros más de toda Canarias, recibió el 26 de junio el reconocimiento como centro embajador para la internacionalización de la educación.

Unos días después de regresar de Irlanda nuestras alumnas escribieron estos textos sobre su estancia en Irlanda en la última movilidad del proyecto Erasmus + BeCreActive:

My experience has been incredible, I have been able to meet great people, and learned many things from different places, the truth is that it is a great opportunity, and it helps you to open up with other people.

MOVILIDAD IRLANDA MAYO 2019. PRESENTACIÓN MODELO JUNK KOUTURE

Nuestras alumnas presentaron en Carndonagh el modelo Junk Kouture realizado por los alumnos de 2º Bachilleato del IES Cruz Santa.Periódicos, cinta adhesiva, tapas, mallas para la fruta, cajas de leche y mucha imaginación.

FUTBOL GAÉLICO, EL DEPORTE IRLANDÉS.

Irlanda es un país lleno de sorpresas. Uno de los deportes más populares entre los irlandeses es el futbol gaélico, una mezcla de fútbol y rugby. En Carndonagh tendremos la oportunidad de sentir la experiencia de ver y practicar en vivo este deporte. Si quieres conocer las normas básicas para jugar al fútbol gaélico, aquí tiene un video con el que podrás conocer algunas de ellas.

DANZAS IRLANDESAS

Una de las actividades en la movilidad a Irlanda tratará sobre la danza irlandesa. En este baile sobre las puntas de los pies y con un incesante taconeo, los bailarines se mueven a un a un ritmo vertiginoso. Un espectáculo que merece la pena ver.

CARNDONAGH. IRLANDA

Carndonagh  está en el condado de Donegal, junto a la frontera con Irlanda del Norte. En el norte de este condado irlandés está la península de Inishowen, un territorio con un clima más benigno que en el resto de Irlanda y unos paisajes impresionantes.

MOVILIDAD IRLANDA

A Irlanda cada uno de los socios del proyecto BeCreAtive llevará un modelo JUNK KOUTURE elaborado por  alumnos y alumnas de los centros educativos.
Nuestro trabajo va bastante avanzado gracias a la colaboración de Cipri, Reme, Conchi y el alumnado de 2º Bachillerato. Han conseguido hacer algo realmente original.

PRÓXIMA MOVILIDAD A CARNDONAGH (IRLANDA)

El próximo mes de mayo tendremos la última movilidad de nuestro proyecto. Disfrutaremos de la hospitalidad irlandesa desde el 11-18 mayo.

Nuestros estudiantes ya han empezado a diseñar el traje que llevaremos a la exhibición que se desarrollará en el instituto irlandés y que será un guiño al famoso "JUNK KOUTURE", certamen nacional con trajes a partir de material reciclado.

INFORMACIÓN DEL PROYECTO AL CLAUSTRO DEL IES CRUZ SANTA

El pasado martes 26 de marzo se informó al claustro del IES Cruz Santa de la marcha del proyecto BCreative que se viene desarrollando en el instituto desde el 2107. Tras comentar los puntos más relevantes, se proyectaron dos vídeos resumen de las movilidades a Bamberg (Alemania) y Emmeloord (Holanda).

“PROJECT ADVENTURE”

The mobility to The Netherlands was started by headmaster Anne Leijenaar who opened the project week with a word of welcome. After this, the students were given a small introduction about the general idea of the project. Then it was time to go to the gym. Here, students and teachers participated in games, inspired by the principles of ‘project adventure’. They include ice-breakers and get-to-know-you games, warm-ups and energisers, trust exercises and group problem-solving activities. It challenges students to work co-operatively, challenge themselves in a supportive environment, improve self-esteem and learn creative approaches to problem-solving.

At the end of the morning, the group continued its way to the city council. Alderman Wiemer Haagsma welcomed the students and told them interesting (cultural and agricultural) facts about life in the Noordoostpolder. Social worker Wytse Wierda from Carrefour explained that the local skatepark had moved to a new location. However, while still very popular amongst young people, a new freerun course has not yet been re-built. The city council is willing to seriously look into new ideas for a new freerunning course. This provides our international group of students with an assignment: ‘Design a new, challenging freerun parkour course that meets legal requirements and other criteria.’

During this whole week, students will work in mixed groups. Inevitably, this will improve and develop their collaboration skills, creative skills, English fluency and many more. Students will experience freerunning themselves, do research (e.g. checking and measuring the appointed location), make sketches and create a scale-models. All of this will result in group presentations for local aldermen, two sportsmen from Freerun Academy and other professionals in the field.

The Dutch Emelwerda College offers their students the option to choose for a course called ‘Technasium’. In this course, students work in groups and for real clients. During this project week, students will work according to the principles of Technasium. This approach is very different from traditional learning. There is much freedom within projects and teachers are there to coach and correct only if necessary. Students can use laptops, iPads, drawings materials, machinery and a 3D printer.

They also had the opportunity to try ice skating, for some their first time, and have fun together, another important aspect of socialization that helps to continue working together and develop the project in a positive way.

Technasium is a stream in the secondary educational system of the Netherlands. It can be chosen by VWO and HAVO students. Scientific subjects form the basis of this teaching method. It can be compared to grammar school, which includes the subjects Latin and Greek. Technasium, however, includes the examination subject “Research and Design” (Dutch: "Onderzoeken en Ontwerpen"). Students can start this course from the first year to the fourth year of high school. Schools are recommended to schedule about 4–6 hours of Research and Design class a week, but this may vary among different high schools. In the first three years, the course is optional and is an addition to the standard curriculum. To prevent the students from having too many study-hours, the schools are free to drop certain other subjects. After the third form, Research and Design becomes a supplementary course, which students can choose within their study program.

MOVILIDAD A HOLANDA ( 2-8 DE FEBREO DE 2019)

Ya están en Holanda las alumnas y profesoras que realizan esta movilidad del proyecto Erasmus+ Be CreAtive. Las alumnas ya están alojadas  en sus familias holandesas . Mañana comienzan las actividades en el Emelwerda College con el resto de los profesores y alumnos/as. Mucho frío y ganas de participar en esta movilidad.

PRÓXIMA MOVILIDAD DEL PROYECTO ERASMUS + BCreAtive: Emmerloord ( Holanda).

La próxima movilidad del proyecto BCreAtive  se desarrollará durante la primera semana del mes de febrero. Las profesoras y alumnas del IES Cruz Santa partirán hacia Holanda el día 2 de febrero. Durante la semana se realizarán las actividades propuestas en la agenda que se adjunta. Una nueva ocasión en la que los alumn@s y profesor@s del proyecto convivirán y compartirán experiencias, con toda seguridad inolvidables .
